The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 5 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dacian Tilea. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhao Sen Yang got free with Hannes Dresdner in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hannes Dresdner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Grau in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Petre Iftode got a free kick in the 8th minute. Zhao Sen Yang struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Hannes Dresdner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waud Soetemans in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hannes Dresdner. Black Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Hannes Dresdner to make any attempt to save it. Hannes Dresdner made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Olov Ahlbeck sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the game, Olov Ahlbeck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hannes Dresdner. Olov Ahlbeck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannes Dresdner saved Black Dragons from getting behind. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhao Sen Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Dragons's goalie prevented a goal. Hannes Dresdner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 36th minute of the match. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephane Pfiffer in the 40th minute of play. When İlhami Akyazıcı came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlhami Akyazıcı couldn't finish the play. After having played for 45 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhao Sen Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhao Sen Yang to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Primitivo Grau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 53rd minute of play forced Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, İlhami Akyazıcı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but İlhami Akyazıcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hannes Dresdner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner. Olov Ahlbeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Zhao Sen Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hannes Dresdner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhao Sen Yang ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen got free with Ivan Chiuzbaian in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski was substituted for Grigore Maghiran. When Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Dragons's goalie prevented a goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olov Ahlbeck in the 75th minute. Zhao Sen Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hannes Dresdner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olov Ahlbeck made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Black Dragons's Stephane Pfiffer. Hannes Dresdner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Grau, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Grau came free, but Hannes Dresdner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 85th minute of play forced Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Dresdner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the referee ended the match the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
