It was Emanuel Lucila who took care of the corner kick. Emanuel Lucila made a great header on Despidida AFC's corner, it was just that AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute, Peep Pronk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 40th minute, Romeo Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Savion in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Dinu Ivănescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Maurício Bomba to make any attempt to save it. Alvaro Errando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Selatse having to interfere. In the 87th minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. AC LeX Luthor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Lucila got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maurício Bomba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Savion in the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Rizzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes, AC LeX Luthor's Silvestre Semeno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Selatse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC LeX Luthor reached it. Despidida AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because AC LeX Luthor had won, even though Despidida AFC had held more of the ball.
