With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fritz Rudolf Bankesch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Xabi Silberhorn came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Alemannia Aachen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xabi Silberhorn couldn't finish the play. After 12 minutes, Waud Soetemans made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alemannia Aachen's Fritz Rudolf Bankesch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 15 minutes, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but I Putu í Lon Jacobsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waud Soetemans succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. I Putu í Lon Jacobsen struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fritz Rudolf Bankesch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Dragons. Hannes Dresdner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utz Vieten, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Dragons's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andreas Köpke was slow to take the kick. During this time Alemannia Aachen's players had a chance to rest. Alemannia Aachen's Andreas Köpke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hannes Dresdner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Utz Vieten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Fritz Rudolf Bankesch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waud Soetemans. The audience thought a goal was coming when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen got free with Fritz Rudolf Bankesch in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fritz Rudolf Bankesch. 38 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Fritz Rudolf Bankesch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waud Soetemans. I Putu í Lon Jacobsen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Fritz Rudolf Bankesch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen made the kick off in the second half. When Utz Vieten fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alemannia Aachen's protests and gave Utz Vieten a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Alemannia Aachen got a freekick which was hit by Utz Vieten. I Putu í Lon Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fritz Rudolf Bankesch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fritz Rudolf Bankesch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fritz Rudolf Bankesch saved Alemannia Aachen from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Waud Soetemans notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Alemannia Aachen's Fritz Rudolf Bankesch. Fritz Rudolf Bankesch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Black Dragons's Sander Buckinx was substituted for Rico Roy. The supporters of Black Dragons booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Hochhaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Black Dragons's I Putu í Lon Jacobsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fritz Rudolf Bankesch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 9-0 when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen sped through Alemannia Aachen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fritz Rudolf Bankesch. With a couple of smart ball manuevers I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fritz Rudolf Bankesch saved Alemannia Aachen from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Waud Soetemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fritz Rudolf Bankesch was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. I Putu í Lon Jacobsen took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Rudolf Bankesch. Fritz Rudolf Bankesch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 92ndth minute of the game I Putu í Lon Jacobsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alemannia Aachen's Fritz Rudolf Bankesch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alemannia Aachen's Fritz Rudolf Bankesch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waud Soetemans in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Black Dragons had played much better football throughout.
