The Despidida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kees Harmsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Armin Bilodeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Black Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Cyrill Graf. Black Dragons's Armin Bilodeau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 20th minute of play. Waud Soetemans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Fernando Selatse skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Waud Soetemans had several of the Despidida AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Fernando Selatse as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 27thth minute of the game Emiliano Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Armin Bilodeau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Bilodeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Velasco in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armin Bilodeau saved Black Dragons from getting behind. Michael Corleone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Bilodeau having to interfere. In the 38th minute Waud Soetemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Armin Bilodeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Pastor Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armin Bilodeau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armin Bilodeau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Armin Bilodeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 52nd minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Dinu Ivănescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Armin Bilodeau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. Black Dragons's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pastor Tino hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Despidida AFC's Ancho Branca was substituted for Dinu Ivănescu. After some careless play in the Black Dragons defense, Oliver Rizzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armin Bilodeau. The Black Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armin Bilodeau should have stopped the shot. Black Dragons's Sander Buckinx was substituted for Rico Roy. Armin Bilodeau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Raymond went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waud Soetemans in the 76th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raffaelo Anderegg's late challenge caught a Despidida AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raffaelo Anderegg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Black Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raffaelo Anderegg to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Alvaro Raymond recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armin Bilodeau. Alvaro Raymond showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Kajetan Gdowik struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Armin Bilodeau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Armin Bilodeau made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Michael Corleone sent off a good shot on target. If Alvaro Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armin Bilodeau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With 92 minutes on the clock, Oliver Rizzo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Oliver Rizzo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Despidida AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
