Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Alejandro Tena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KF KORCA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Alejandro Tena managed to get in a good position for a shot. KF KORCA's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Tena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KF KORCA's attentive Halid Oshafi managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. When Alejandro Tena came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the KF KORCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Tena couldn't finish the play. Gramoz Gala's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gramoz Gala helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, KF KORCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gramoz Gala to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Moruga's late challenge caught a KF KORCA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Zoido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafurr Daku, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. KF KORCA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Izet Hamdiu in the 36th minute. It was a well-played corner which Nezhdet Selamaj managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 36 played minutes KF KORCA got a freekick which was hit by Nezhdet Selamaj. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Alejandro Tena lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 60th minute, Alfredo Zoido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Kostedde in the 67th minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Tena went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute Dennis Kostedde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Kostedde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of KF KORCA booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Kostedde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, KF KORCA's Alejandro Tena made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Tena in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes KF KORCA got a freekick which was hit by Mentor Zazane. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Tena went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When Alfredo Zoido fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alfredo Zoido a yellow card for diving instead. KF KORCA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
