SIGHET -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gheorghe Manu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 8 minutes on the clock, Horaţiu Nica commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 7th minute, one of C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-. Kyle Davies shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Stelian Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 11th minute of play. SIGHET -MM-'s Stelian Platon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Davies in the 14th minute of play. In the 29th minute Rocco Owen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Platon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Davies, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curacao were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Felix Tremurici made the kick off in the second half. If Ştefan Dijmărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Curacao's Stelian Platon threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Davies, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 57 minutes of play, Curacao's Stanley Wallace made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Platon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Bertie Johnson fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Bertie Johnson a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dumitru Aldulescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. 1-2. SIGHET -MM-'s Felix Tremurici pulled a muscle in his back after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 87 minutes in the game Jordan Porter did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marshall Graham. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Gheorghe Manu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stanley Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Stelian Platon made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Kyle Davies dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stelian Platon, 1-4. The Curacao players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
