Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vic Panhuyse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Jackson Wharton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 11th minute Jackson Wharton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALL BLACK's Avishag Perutz got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jackson Wharton got free with Jacobo Nores in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Nores had great luck who in the 22ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Jackson Wharton from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jackson Wharton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jackson Wharton in the 42nd minute. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Wharton in the 45th minute of play. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Jackson Wharton sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jackson Wharton, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Toviel Mittelman took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Jackson Wharton sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. After 67 minutes, Vic Panhuyse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALL BLACK and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes ALL BLACK got a freekick which was hit by Vic Panhuyse. In the 68th minute, Raul Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toviel Mittelman charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toviel Mittelman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toviel Mittelman hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 71st minute of play forced ALL BLACK's goalkeeper Rollo Christ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toviel Mittelman in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jackson Wharton in the 75th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rollo Christ was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Jaime Pardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Pardo really showed his touch with that goal: 7-1. ALL BLACK's Yoshafat Halberstam was substituted for Zakkai Ziderman. 85 minutes into the match, Jackson Wharton notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galon Azraev in the 89th minute of the match. A hard shot by Jaime Pardo from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Rollo Christ's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ALL BLACK had won after a very even match.
