Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelson Mendoza started the match with the kick off. Hermengildo Jobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Cosoreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ged Pope in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Roger Crossley fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nelson Mendoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes of play, T H F C's Ged Pope made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Cosoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Hermengildo Jobo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UFC STEAUA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hermengildo Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Stone having to interfere. Felix Cosoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Crossley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reuben Howarth kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Garth Wardell made a great header on T H F C's corner, it was just that UFC STEAUA's Felix Cosoreanu managed to reach the ball for a save. After 33 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Gheorghe. T H F C's Ivan Stone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Therkild Prendorf in the 35th minute of play. If Hermengildo Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Hermengildo Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Stone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Roger Crossley managed to get in a good position for a shot. T H F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Crossley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Cosoreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

T H F C's Matty Tinker was substituted for Ged Pope. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matty Tinker was the one to do the kick off. If Matty Tinker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of T H F C booed when UFC STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Gheorghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The T H F C fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when T H F C's Matty Tinker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clive Cheesman's late challenge caught a UFC STEAUA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clive Cheesman helped the player get up and apologised. Clive Cheesman hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes, Matty Tinker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the T H F C and the UFC STEAUA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nelson Mendoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Crossley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Cosoreanu having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Nelson Mendoza put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ivan Stone. In the 73rd minute, T H F C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nelson Mendoza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to T H F C getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Clive Cheesman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Mendoza in the 79th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Ivan Stone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UFC STEAUA's Nelson Mendoza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Matty Tinker was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ivan Stone was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Nelson Mendoza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nelson Mendoza really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. Therkild Prendorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ivan Stone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, UFC STEAUA's Ivan Stone threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nelson Mendoza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The T H F C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UFC STEAUA's performance. The match ended with a win for UFC STEAUA.
