After having played for 53 minutes, Mané Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindorama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mané Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Pindorama's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Rogov came free, but Hortêncio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Pindorama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pindorama's zone, Adolf Rogov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Duarte came out of the goal and Adolf Rogov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 played minutes Феникс Санкт-Петербург got a freekick which was hit by Marat Bolshakov. Qiu Zheng Ning made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Nelsinho Meira sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Mané Bezerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qiu Zheng Ning. The Pindorama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Duarte should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Mané Bezerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qiu Zheng Ning was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The long shot by Guilherme Duarte in the 89th minute really tested Qiu Zheng Ning's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 91st match minute, Феникс Санкт-Петербург was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergey Kachalov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Salles in the 92nd minute of play forced Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalkeeper Qiu Zheng Ning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Pindorama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Феникс Санкт-Петербург.
