João Massa came out of the goal and Conrado Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nelsinho Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. João Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelson Mendoza in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Duarte saved Pindorama from getting behind. Conrado Qwinton charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Qwinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Pindorama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kong Xiang Hao kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Cafu Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. A collision led to UFC STEAUA getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Isaac Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. UFC STEAUA were victorious despite being under pressure from Pindorama for much of the match.
