Qiu Zheng Ning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žydrūnas Pakerys in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Sălcudeanu in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tautvydas Dinda saved Aleksotas FK from getting behind. If Tudor Sălcudeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Tudor Sălcudeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tautvydas Dinda. Aleksotas FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Sălcudeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tautvydas Dinda came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Marat Bolshakov. But to his dismay, Marat Bolshakov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sigitas Kerežis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Žydrūnas Pakerys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Qiu Zheng Ning made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Adolf Rogov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tautvydas Dinda. Aleksotas FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolf Rogov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Žydrūnas Pakerys in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Qiu Zheng Ning, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Žydrūnas Pakerys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Qiu Zheng Ning made a huge save. In the 34th match minute, Aleksotas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laimonas Bačys to maneuver through the defense. The Феникс Санкт-Петербург fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Tudor Sălcudeanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tudor Sălcudeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tautvydas Dinda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Tudor Sălcudeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tautvydas Dinda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The Aleksotas FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tautvydas Dinda made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Tudor Sălcudeanu sent off a good shot on target. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Adolf Rogov got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalkeeper Qiu Zheng Ning, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Marat Bolshakov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tautvydas Dinda. That made the score 0-8 after 67 minutes of play. Aleksotas FK's Tautvydas Dinda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Aleksotas FK from getting a goal against them. Aleksotas FK:s Tautvydas Dinda showed great skill when he stopped Josue Ayala:s penalty. The excitement rose when Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Josue Ayala after 80 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Aleksotas FK's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Jie got free with Tautvydas Dinda in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Aleksotas FK defense, Liu Jie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tautvydas Dinda. The Aleksotas FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tautvydas Dinda should have stopped the shot. Laimonas Bačys hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, Aleksotas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nerijus Jekelevičius to maneuver through the defense. Afanasiy Mamichev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tautvydas Dinda having to interfere. When the match was over Феникс Санкт-Петербург could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aleksotas FK throughout the match.
