Xu Yue Yuan hit a great ball. In the 7th minute of the match Roque Oliveiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Massa skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of UFC STEAUA booed when Passa o Tanque MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Passa o Tanque MZ's Bernd Goldsche fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Passa o Tanque MZ's Diamantino Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Passa o Tanque MZ from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Gigel Seremet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diamantino Magalhães, 1-0. In the 26th minute Therkild Prendorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Therkild Prendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Magalhães having to interfere. In the 29th minute Gigel Seremet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Mendoza in the 31st minute of play forced Passa o Tanque MZ's goalkeeper Diamantino Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafet Faydalı in the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernd Goldsche in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Massa saved UFC STEAUA from getting behind. Nelson Mendoza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Diamantino Magalhães made a huge save. In the 56th play minute Roque Oliveiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Massa. 1-1. Diamantino Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Mendoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Mendoza in the 61st minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Passa o Tanque MZ got a freekick which was hit by Davi Cerezo. 65 minutes into the match, Passa o Tanque MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Therkild Prendorf came free, but Diamantino Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Gigel Seremet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Therkild Prendorf in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Magalhães saved Passa o Tanque MZ from getting behind. Diamantino Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Basarabescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson Mendoza in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the game, UFC STEAUA's Rafet Faydalı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Therkild Prendorf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Magalhães having to make a save. Therkild Prendorf took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino Magalhães. Diamantino Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the UFC STEAUA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
