The audience was convinced that Ciriaco Cordarrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tautvydas Dinda was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Ciriaco Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tautvydas Dinda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Monserrat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Cordarrell scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tautvydas Dinda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Laurynas Lemežis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 27 minutes, Marcelo Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Michael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Aleksotas FK defense, Ciriaco Cordarrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tautvydas Dinda. The Aleksotas FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tautvydas Dinda should have stopped the shot. Ciriaco Cordarrell scored 0-5 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tautvydas Dinda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Žydrūnas Pakerys to make the kick off. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alonzo Oton hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Laurynas Lemežis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aleksotas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurynas Lemežis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Ferman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tautvydas Dinda was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Ciriaco Cordarrell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The goal made the score 0-7. 82 minutes into the match, Aleksotas FK's goalkeeper Tautvydas Dinda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Heredia. In the 84th play minute Victor Heredia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tautvydas Dinda. 0-8. Victor Heredia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tautvydas Dinda made a huge save. After some careless play in the Aleksotas FK defense, Victor Heredia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tautvydas Dinda. The Aleksotas FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tautvydas Dinda should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Victor Heredia made a precise shot to the right of Tautvydas Dinda. Aleksotas FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Victor Heredia might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tautvydas Dinda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Heredia ran back to his position shaking his head. SAN LORENZO FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
