Vende Humo's Silvano Blech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazmija Stojković in the 14th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Yaar O'Connell in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vende Humo's Mati Rodriguez. 18 minutes into the game, Atlético de Caracas's Nazmija Stojković nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Blech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Piero Hincapié kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Silvano Blech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Alley in the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tom Wassenius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvano Blech. That made the score 3-1 in the 24 minute of play. With a little luck, Vende Humo's Silvano Blech got control of the ball when Tom Wassenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zarando Calva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Wassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Silvano Blech made a huge save. Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Saturnin in the 42nd minute of play. After 46 played minutes Vende Humo got a freekick which was hit by Mati Rodriguez. 47 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's Gabirel Caceo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Atlético de Caracas made a substitution. Aires Laguno replaced Nazmija Stojković. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Silvano Blech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Wassenius in the 53rd minute of play. Benito Saturnin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zarando Calva having to make a save. Zarando Calva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Saturnin in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Saturnin came free, but Zarando Calva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A beautiful save bye Vende Humo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th minute Aires Laguno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Blech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
