The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Hélder Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Milan Garcia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvério Netto. Milan Garcia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Academia Militar MZ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gilmar Torres hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes, Käka Puck BK's Milan Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvério Netto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Käka Puck BK reached it. In the 11th minute, Milan Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Silvério Netto. Academia Militar MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Silvério Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milan Garcia in the 17th minute of the match. Milan Garcia scored 3-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvério Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Sigvard Fastesson sped through Academia Militar MZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvério Netto. Silvério Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milan Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdo de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Hans Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Fastesson to make the kick off. Bernd Goldsche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Carl Forsberg made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Bernd Goldsche could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Carl Forsberg however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hans Hök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Silvério Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvério Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milan Garcia in the 63rd minute of play. Silvério Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milan Garcia in the 64th minute of the match. If Hélder Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the game, Valdo de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia Militar MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Käka Puck BK the free kick. With a little luck, Käka Puck BK's Carl Forsberg got control of the ball when Bernd Goldsche tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Hélder Custódio took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Carl Forsberg to make any attempt to save it. Rogério Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carl Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Sigvard Fastesson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvério Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Käka Puck BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Academia Militar MZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
