After some careless play in the Pindorama defense, Marcus Beecham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. The Pindorama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Duarte should have stopped the shot. Marcus Beecham scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nelsinho Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Beecham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hortêncio Duarte having to make a save. Hortêncio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Beecham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hortêncio Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Beecham in the 29th minute of the match. Eddy Lynch charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddy Lynch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guilherme Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Team Pogba were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Pindorama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Beecham took the corner. Team Pogba's Glyn Johnston was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hortêncio Duarte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nelsinho Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Garry Warden made a huge save. Marcus Beecham might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hortêncio Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Beecham ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Beecham made a kick off. Marcus Beecham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Marcus Ainge got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joseph Nicholson. 58 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Meira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garry Warden. Team Pogba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelsinho Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Beecham in the 61st minute of play. Marcus Beecham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Nelsinho Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Warden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcus Beecham came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Team Pogba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Beecham couldn't finish the play. If Raúl Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Marcus Beecham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hortêncio Duarte was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Marcus Beecham came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Team Pogba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Beecham couldn't finish the play. Hortêncio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Beecham in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Meira in the 86th minute of play forced Team Pogba's goalkeeper Garry Warden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Guilherme Duarte in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Team Pogba's Lamine Yamal. Pindorama were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
