Rogério Gaúcho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when Passa o Tanque MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stade Ygossais's Anthony Vaissière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Torres in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Passa o Tanque MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo de Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Jackson Plet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rdth minute of the game Bernd Goldsche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stade Ygossais's Anthony Vaissière was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Bernd Goldsche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthony Vaissière. Stade Ygossais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernd Goldsche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Silvério Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Salhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony Vaissière came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Passa o Tanque MZ's Gilmar Torres. But to his dismay, Gilmar Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 46 minutes of play, Passa o Tanque MZ's Bernd Goldsche made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthony Vaissière was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilmar Torres to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Felix Dhondt suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Gilmar Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Stade Ygossais's Anthony Vaissière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Torres in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Stade Ygossais getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jackson Plet hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes Stade Ygossais got a freekick which was hit by Bastien Tassart. 76 minutes into the game, Hélder Custódio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Anthony Vaissière was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anthony Vaissière showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Custódio in the 83rd minute of the match. Aaron Fernström hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Passa o Tanque MZ's Gilmar Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bernd Goldsche came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Passa o Tanque MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernd Goldsche couldn't finish the play. In the 87th match minute, Stade Ygossais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastien Tassart to maneuver through the defense. When Eugène Guiguet fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stade Ygossais's protests and gave Eugène Guiguet a yellow card for diving instead. Eugène Guiguet kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Passa o Tanque MZ's Hélder Custódio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthony Vaissière made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. The Stade Ygossais fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Passa o Tanque MZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
