After a defensive mix-up in T H F C's zone, Marcus Beecham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Radcliffe came out of the goal and Marcus Beecham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Beecham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dan Radcliffe made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Ged Pope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Glyn Johnston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garry Warden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dane Wardell, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Marcus Beecham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes in the game Alejandro Garnacho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joseph Nicholson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Beecham in the 34th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Dan Radcliffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Beecham was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dion Kerridge during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcus Beecham might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Radcliffe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Beecham ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Radcliffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Beecham in the 66th minute of play. Marcus Beecham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Radcliffe having to make a save. After 79 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Ged Pope. 83 minutes into the game, Reuben Howarth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. T H F C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Pogba the free kick. Reuben Howarth kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Dan Radcliffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Lynch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
