After a rather tough play, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Robert Gierman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Nelsinho Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pindorama's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerald Moermans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralph Wilmink took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hortêncio Duarte. Pindorama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robert Gierman was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Pindorama booed when The Dalwhinnie Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Gierman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Qwinton got free with Gerald Moermans in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute Martien Krommert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martien Krommert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Duarte having to interfere. Pindorama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
