After 9 minutes of play, Passa o Tanque MZ's Gilmar Torres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garry Warden was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the game, Bernd Goldsche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Garry Warden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hélder Custódio took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garry Warden. Garry Warden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 18th minute, Bernd Goldsche made a precise shot to the right of Garry Warden. Team Pogba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 24th minute Bernd Goldsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Warden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Passa o Tanque MZ booed when Team Pogba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Lynch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Team Pogba's Garry Warden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Torres in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilmar Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Bernd Goldsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Warden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Team Pogba's Garry Warden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Team Pogba from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Team Pogba's Garry Warden got control of the ball when Bernd Goldsche tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Beecham in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvério Netto saved Passa o Tanque MZ from getting behind. Passa o Tanque MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garry Warden came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Passa o Tanque MZ's Bernd Goldsche. But to his dismay, Bernd Goldsche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. A collision led to Passa o Tanque MZ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Genílson Marquez hit a great ball. The Team Pogba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Passa o Tanque MZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
