The supporters of Untte BK booed when The Dalwhinnie Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Wegman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Berry Baalen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Magnus Skjelstad in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Untte BK's Anders Fjeldberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berry Baalen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 37th match minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Sleiffer to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Untte BK's goal looked a bit too open when Izaak Pierewaaijer came free, but Hans Nordnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Untte BK's Hans Nordnes got control of the ball when Izaak Pierewaaijer tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anders Fjeldberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Berry Baalen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Magnus Skjelstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izaak Pierewaaijer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Nordnes having to make a save. Untte BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
