The The Dalwhinnie Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Tellingen should have stopped the shot. Evandro Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Smeekes in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roel Geerdink in the 10th minute of play forced LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Evandro Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roel Geerdink 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. A collision led to The Dalwhinnie Boys getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dimitrie Kuypers hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Laércio Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Tellingen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes, Leal Valido made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Arne Tellingen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The LA COSA NOSTRA fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when LA COSA NOSTRA's Leal Valido looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Evandro Azeredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roel Geerdink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Wilfried Ottens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Altino Candeias put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Arne Tellingen. 39 minutes into the game, Leal Valido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Arne Tellingen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The The Dalwhinnie Boys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LA COSA NOSTRA were winning 2-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfried Ottens to strike the kick off in the second half. Altino Candeias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Leal Valido reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arne Tellingen. The goal made the score 2-6. Arne Tellingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Arne Tellingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save The Dalwhinnie Boys from getting a goal against them. Arne Tellingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altino Candeias, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 79 minutes, Altino Candeias made it 2-8 with a short kick to the right side. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Arne Tellingen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 2-9 became the score in the 84th minute when Leal Valido elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 90 played minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Ben Schokkenbroek. In the 92nd minute Frits Schrage suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. André Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Roel Geerdink made a precise shot to the right of Evandro Azeredo. LA COSA NOSTRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-9. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LA COSA NOSTRA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
