Arne Tellingen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Roel Geerdink came free, but Bengt Ånger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheetah Team's Christian Winström pulled a muscle in his leg after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jim Robben charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Robben the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cheetah Team's Tord Jakobsson was substituted for Christian Winström. 25 minutes into the game, one of The Dalwhinnie Boys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfried Ottens in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Ånger saved Cheetah Team from getting behind. Bengt Ånger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfried Ottens in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Michel Skräddare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Tellingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Jakobsson in the 38th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cheetah Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Wilfried Ottens made the kick off in the second half. Dan Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Tellingen having to interfere. After some careless play in the The Dalwhinnie Boys defense, Tord Jakobsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Tellingen. The The Dalwhinnie Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Tellingen should have stopped the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Roel Geerdink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Dalwhinnie Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roel Geerdink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Cheetah Team getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. David Berggren hit a great ball. Bengt Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfried Ottens, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Tord Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match.
