In the 2nd match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leal Valido to maneuver through the defense. Eilert Østmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leal Valido in the 4th minute of the match. If Tormod Høgset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Untte BK booed when LA COSA NOSTRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Portugal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leal Valido in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eilert Østmo saved Untte BK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leal Valido in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eilert Østmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tormod Høgset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Evandro Azeredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Øivind Ege recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evandro Azeredo. Øivind Ege showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Eilert Østmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leal Valido's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Eilert Østmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Almeida hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Leal Valido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leal Valido was in a good position and ended up with the ball after LA COSA NOSTRA's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marius Mørk was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Untte BK's Øivind Ege made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evandro Azeredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leal Valido in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eilert Østmo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Untte BK's Eilert Østmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Untte BK from getting a goal against them. After 61 played minutes Untte BK got a freekick which was hit by Oddbjørn Pettersen. Afonso Portugal hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Altino Candeias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilert Østmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Portugal scored 2-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eilert Østmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leal Valido got free with Eilert Østmo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Gjermund Winger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Laércio Vieira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eilert Østmo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Altino Candeias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Untte BK's Eilert Østmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Vieira during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laércio Vieira hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Leal Valido's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Eilert Østmo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leal Valido in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Untte BK's Eilert Østmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Valido in the 90th minute of play. Untte BK's players were relieved. 97 minutes into the match, Tormod Høgset had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evandro Azeredo. LA COSA NOSTRA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tormod Høgset was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
