Amado Osmundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lalo Buenaga in the 4th minute of the match. When Hector-Luis Conllas fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC United's protests and gave Hector-Luis Conllas a yellow card for diving instead. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Baraja Española FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Pardelas was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC United's players had a chance to rest. Honorato Gaueko tried in the 11th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Amado Osmundo a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. In the 14th minute, AFC United's Lalo Buenaga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amado Osmundo. Amado Osmundo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 22nd minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Amado Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Gilen Tejada. Amado Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lalo Buenaga in the 28th minute of play. Hector-Luis Conllas scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Osmundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Gilen Tejada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baraja Española FC the free kick. In the 38th minute, Gilen Tejada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Mitxel during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santos Mitxel kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, AFC United's Lalo Buenaga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The supporters of Baraja Española FC booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilen Tejada didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Lalo Buenaga made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Estavan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baraja Española FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC United the free kick. 56 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lalo Buenaga came free, but Amado Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Lalo Buenaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC United's supporters rose to their feet, but Lalo Buenaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60thth minute of the game Lalo Buenaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baraja Española FC's Amado Osmundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 65th minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Amado Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lalo Buenaga in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Baraja Española FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. When Anxo Labrada got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for AFC United. AFC United were furious when Eleder Borrellino was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Pedro Torrens acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Baldomiro Estavan. After some careless play in the Baraja Española FC defense, Charro Pereceira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Osmundo. The Baraja Española FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Osmundo should have stopped the shot. Amado Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lalo Buenaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Teofilo Pardelas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amado Osmundo. Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. AFC United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
