Ollie Flesfadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Dakota Gaffigan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, 康帆明 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everett Kiel to maneuver through the defense. 康帆明 hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Olliver Todman came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olliver Todman couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dakota Gaffigan in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 江朋兴 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 minutes, 康帆明 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 【AC】Black Dragon-YinChuan and the Australian Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 【AC】Black Dragon-YinChuan's 康帆明 got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, 孙义桦 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ollie Flesfadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 江朋兴 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkeley Glover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Australian Youth Academy's Berkeley Glover ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 江朋兴. 江朋兴 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
