The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Britto during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelo Britto hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th match minute, Bebela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Travassos to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Ulises Argoitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. Amado Osmundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Mitxel might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Mitxel ran back to his position shaking his head. Baraja Española FC's Santos Mitxel got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Jorge Travassos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bebela and the Baraja Española FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Bebela got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Travassos. Baraja Española FC's Amado Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Simão in the 30th minute of play. Teodoro Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Santos Mitxel sped through Bebela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eriberto Azevedo. Apolo Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Baraja Española FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Argoitz. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th match minute, Baraja Española FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Kepa to maneuver through the defense. Santos Mitxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eriberto Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Baraja Española FC's Santos Mitxel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Angelo Britto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Amado Osmundo 67 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Bebela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Travassos to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Britto got free with Amado Osmundo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Mitxel in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Azevedo saved Bebela from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
