Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antony Cuddihy started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ryan Millard hit a great ball. Ollie Flesfadar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Serafino Geofredo. Stew Rizzardo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Ryan Millard got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ollie Flesfadar came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Potrero's Celso Oliveiro. But to his dismay, Celso Oliveiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Javier Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dakota Gaffigan in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Antony Cuddihy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Serafino Geofredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ollie Flesfadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Australian Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Antony Cuddihy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Steven. C. A. Potrero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antony Cuddihy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Santiago Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After the first half Australian Youth Academy were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafino Geofredo made a kick off. Albino Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niceto Lehior's late challenge caught a Australian Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Lehior helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Niceto Lehior hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Albino Cruz got a free kick in the 60th minute. Australian Youth Academy's Neville Schutt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Javier Steven but with some difficulty. Santiago Argenis took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ollie Flesfadar. Ollie Flesfadar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neville Schutt to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes C. A. Potrero got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Geofredo. Olliver Todman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Javier Steven came out and tried to block the shot, but Olliver Todman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 83rd minute. 93 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Javier Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olliver Todman. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Australian Youth Academy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
