Arnold Schwarzenegger took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Brasil. Edvaldo Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Claude Van Damme. 30 minutes into the match, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Schwarzenegger came free, but Edvaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Giovani Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR and the MAFFIAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. The MAFFIAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2.
