The supporters of AFC United booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neville Schutt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes of play, AFC United's Hector-Luis Conllas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ollie Flesfadar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ollie Flesfadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lalo Buenaga in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 38th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ollie Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ollie Flesfadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lalo Buenaga in the 40th minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Eleder Borrellino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC United and the Australian Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eleder Borrellino kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 47th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ollie Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olliver Todman made a kick off. Lalo Buenaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ollie Flesfadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ollie Flesfadar came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Lalo Buenaga. But to his dismay, Lalo Buenaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Bradley Obree lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Australian Youth Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC United:s goal. Lalo Buenaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Flesfadar having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, AFC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Conllas to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Lalo Buenaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Lalo Buenaga sped through Australian Youth Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ollie Flesfadar. Ollie Flesfadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector-Luis Conllas in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lalo Buenaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ollie Flesfadar was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute Lalo Buenaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Flesfadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Eleder Borrellino got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the AFC United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
