In the 32nd minute Geovânio Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Geovânio Albuquerque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Quintin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Floresta Club U18's Cafu Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Ostots made a kick off. Apolo Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the match, Gustavo Bide got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hudson de Souza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hudson de Souza made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Justino Monico sent off a good shot on target. Geovânio Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Apolo Quintin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Floresta Club U18 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
