Potrero's Serafino Geofredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eleuterio Aztore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Potrero reached it. Celso Oliveiro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Bixintxo got free with Javier Steven in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, C. A. Potrero's Serafino Geofredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Aztore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The referee ignored Monte Hermoso Beach's protests and gave Marco Bixintxo a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Bixintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Flores was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes C. A. After 62 minutes of play Monte Hermoso Beach's Marco Bixintxo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Marco Bixintxo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Geofredo in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Nicanor Silvanito got a free kick in the 69th minute. Eleuterio Aztore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C. A. Potrero's Laureano Ermano was substituted for Santiago Argenis. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Potrero's Benedicto Noe was substituted for Nicanor Silvanito. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Isidoro Birjaio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Serafino Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monte Hermoso Beach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Geofredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
