Amado Osmundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Baraja Española FC defense, Stig Enegren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Osmundo. The Baraja Española FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Osmundo should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Hugo Nyman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Osmundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Baraja Española FC's Amado Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Widberg in the 27th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Baltasar Edorta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig Enegren in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Osmundo saved Baraja Española FC from getting behind. If Stig Enegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Edorta during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amado Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Widberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Baltasar Edorta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Kjell-Arne Hultman made a huge save.

51 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Widberg came free, but Amado Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Matos's late challenge caught a MAFFIAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Matos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Baraja Española FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Baraja Española FC's Amado Osmundo got control of the ball when Stig Enegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dennis Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Amado Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Osmundo was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Mark Widberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mark Widberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Baraja Española FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Mark Widberg scored to the left of an out of position Amado Osmundo, making the score, 0-5. MAFFIAN's Kjell-Arne Hultman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Theodore in the 70th minute of play. Amado Osmundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mark Widberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Amado Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Josefsson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Matos in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell-Arne Hultman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kjell-Arne Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over MAFFIAN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Baraja Española FC throughout the match.
