With a little luck, Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza got control of the ball when Alex Vallin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, MAFFIAN's Thomas Wassberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hudson de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mark Widberg hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Vennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunde Svan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If George Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza got control of the ball when Thomas Wassberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Floresta Club U18's João Leiva in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAFFIAN's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Wassberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute MAFFIAN were awarded a corner. Gunde Svan went to the cornerflag to take it. MAFFIAN's Gunde Svan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hudson de Souza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alex Vallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MAFFIAN's Hugo Nyman was substituted for Rudolf Josefsson. In the 62nd minute Alex Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Vallin in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Gunde Svan came free, but Hudson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Vallin in the 69th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Hudson de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Zeca Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAFFIAN's Torgny Mogren was substituted for Thomas Wassberg. The MAFFIAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Dahlbom should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 83 in the game by João Leiva from a close distance when the talented Aron Dahlbom managed to make a qualified save. MAFFIAN's players were relieved. Hudson de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Mogren in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Mogren in the 87th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Hudson de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Dennis Edström made a precise shot to the right of Hudson de Souza. Floresta Club U18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Vallin in the 91st minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Hudson de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Torgny Mogren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAFFIAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MAFFIAN had played much better football throughout.
