An unexpectedly hard shot by Neville Wal in the 20th minute of play forced Zero Hedge's goalkeeper Wiktor Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Bertil Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Cochrane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Zero Hedge's Bertil Åström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dani Cochrane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Jansson in the 41st minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Dani Cochrane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jemmett Baba during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Jemmett Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Åke Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zero Hedge! Zero Hedge:s Wiktor Wallander showed great skill when he stopped Olliver Todman:s penalty. Wiktor Wallander came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman. But to his dismay, Olliver Todman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 62nd minute Olliver Todman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiktor Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neville Wal in the 65th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Neville Wal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Wallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Australian Youth Academy made a substitution. Dugald Berresford replaced Ben Minton. Zero Hedge's Gabriel Odeen was substituted for Åke Jansson. The Australian Youth Academy manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Zero Hedge to win.
