Miguel Joseph started the match with the kick off. Lino Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Joseph in the 6th minute of the match. Lino Naelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Cambranes's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Angel Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Bemabe. Lino Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Cambranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Cambranes came free, but Lino Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Abila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Lorien having to interfere. In the 29th minute Constantino Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Cambranes in the 30th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramón Abila hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Cambranes came free, but Lino Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Anastasio Enol replaced Albano Cambranes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvano Baleren to make the kick off. Angel Leguizamón hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Lico came free, but Lino Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes Alijilán returns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Bixintxo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Benjamin Arotza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alijilán returns's Lino Naelio did a great save. 61 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Lico came free, but Lino Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Alijilán returns's Lino Naelio got control of the ball when Anastasio Enol tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Enol got free with Lino Naelio in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angel Leguizamón hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Ramón Abila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Benjamin Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Arotza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Anastasio Enol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 98th minute Anastasio Enol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monte Hermoso Beach had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
