The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Matos made a kick off. Potrero's Pablo Acevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Potrero from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Serafino Geofredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Osmundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Baraja Española FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C. A. Potrero.
