A collision led to SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gürkan Niğdeli hit a great ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON's goalkeeper Tolga Özbilen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rickard Erserman took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolga Özbilen. Tolga Özbilen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal was substituted for Rickard Erserman. SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koray Baran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Musa Aydoğan was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mercurio San Martín during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Inter de Chillán fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musa Aydoğan in the 83rd minute of play.
