In the 30th minute Nacional were awarded a corner. Xu Sha went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Xu Sha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Selatse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kees Harmsen hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Xu Sha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Selatse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cain Velasquez to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Sha, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 43rd minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Raymond to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Raymond in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juaneizu Merida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu was substituted for Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. Nacional made a substitution. Walme Yurre replaced Mendiko Bueres. Feliksas Fenichev got a throw-in 71 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dinu Ivănescu. Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despidida AFC the free kick. In the 85th minute of the match, Ursino Brunet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Selatse saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 85thth minute of the game Ursino Brunet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juaneizu Merida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Tino in the 92nd minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Emiliano Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacional's Juaneizu Merida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Despidida AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nacional had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
