Grabiel Escorcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Florencio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Gilbert Godefroid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juaneizu Merida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nacional's Xu Sha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mario Hermelando in the 15 minute of the game. Florencio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Luis Rodríguez in the 16th minute of play. Nacional's Xu Sha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Froilan Donostia, made in the 20th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Grabiel Escorcia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florencio Cutberto, 1-2. 29 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Godefroid came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Dave Signoretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juaneizu Merida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Guib came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Donostia was the one to do the kick off. Jony Maidana charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jony Maidana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Donostia in the 56th minute of play. Gilbert Godefroid succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Nacional's Walme Yurre was substituted for Mendiko Bueres. 68 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Donostia came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grabiel Escorcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. If Mats Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Linqvist got free with Juaneizu Merida in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Nacional's Juaneizu Merida got control of the ball when Mats Linqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mats Linqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juaneizu Merida having to make a save. In the 93rd minute of the match, Mats Linqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juaneizu Merida was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Mats Linqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
