With his leg Rolando Noboa managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tristan Lannister fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Lannister in the 16th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Lannister in the 18th minute of play. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by José Pedro Dracena in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by José Pedro Dracena in the 23 minute of the game. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gustaw Nowak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mieszko Marosz in the 30 minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Peru's Eliseo Mina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaw Nowak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 38th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristan Lannister in the 40th minute. Gustaw Nowak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

In the 59th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tristan Lannister. But to his dismay, Tristan Lannister quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Rafal Ludwiczak was substituted for Wawrzyniec Domamir. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Mieszko Marosz made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. In the 95th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antonio Tenorio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak did a great save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
