Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Altan Miro might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Altan Miro ran back to his position shaking his head. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Altan Miro came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. The supporters of Asilo do Teco booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Altan Miro in the 15th minute. Asilo do Teco's Faustão Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Altan Miro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 1-0. Altan Miro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altan Miro got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Altan Miro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gražvydas Gylys in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Altan Miro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Altan Miro made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Asilo do Teco's Evandro Maia got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 59th minute, Edu da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Altan Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altan Miro in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Asilo do Teco's Gražvydas Gylys got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gilberto Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Cleiton Urbano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asilo do Teco and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
