The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vic Angelsø to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi got control of the ball when Diego Armando Santirso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Armando Santirso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zheng Jian Yi. That made the score 2-1 in the 62 minute of play. Carl Rundell came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zheng Jian Yi could save by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's Emilio Vedillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Leicea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zheng Jian Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Santirso in the 74th minute of play. When Vic Angelsø came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vic Angelsø couldn't finish the play. Zheng Jian Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezmi Gök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Lino Policarpio threw the ball into play from the sideline. MarineerS FK's John Antolin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 91st minute of the match, Cezmi Gök tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zheng Jian Yi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of MarineerS FK booed when FC Chorchoj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Chorchoj's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
