If José Rivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kuido Undusk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Rivera in the 9th minute of the match. Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Gendre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Rivera came free, but Kuido Undusk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Gustaaf Gendre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clem Fath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosa nostra Lyon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Amadeo Guillelme scored to the left of an out of position Clem Fath, making the score, 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Rivera came free, but Kuido Undusk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cosa nostra Lyon defense, Hermelando Coello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clem Fath. The Cosa nostra Lyon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clem Fath should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the game, José Rivera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosa nostra Lyon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Presidents FC the free kick. Clem Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Guillelme in the 43rd minute of play. After 48 played minutes, Les Presidents FC's Zbigniew Narbut shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clem Fath came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Les Presidents FC reached it. In the game's 48th minute Les Presidents FC's Zbigniew Narbut took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Clem Fath and thus the score was 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermelando Coello was the one to do the kick off. Nic Van Gestelt made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gregory Thielemans however managed to control. After 59 minutes of play, Les Presidents FC's Gustaaf Gendre made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clem Fath was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Gendre in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clem Fath prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute of the match Zé Moreno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kuido Undusk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Gendre in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clem Fath saved Cosa nostra Lyon from getting behind. Cosa nostra Lyon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Gendre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Les Presidents FC had played much better football throughout.
