In the 4th minute, FC Chorchoj's Vic Angelsø ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clem Fath. Clem Fath yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cosa nostra Lyon's zone, Dyllen Reijnders stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clem Fath came out of the goal and Dyllen Reijnders tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Vic Angelsø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chorchoj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vic Angelsø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Vedillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Clem Fath made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vic Angelsø. FC Chorchoj were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Cosa nostra Lyon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lino Policarpio took the corner. The corner ended in Vic Angelsø almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath did a great save. José Rivera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zheng Jian Yi having to make a save. In the 27th minute, José Rivera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zheng Jian Yi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Vic Angelsø's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Clem Fath firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alois Selinger made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edmondo Coco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Coco in the 41st minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zheng Jian Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Rivera in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vic Angelsø to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Zheng Jian Yi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Vedillo in the 58th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes Cosa nostra Lyon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lino Policarpio who took care of the corner kick. When Emilio Vedillo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Vedillo couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Emilio Vedillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Angelsø in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes Cosa nostra Lyon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lino Policarpio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Chorchoj's corner Edmondo Coco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clem Fath quite easily take care of the ball. FC Chorchoj's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Policarpio in the 68th minute. Edmondo Coco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 71 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's Emilio Vedillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clem Fath narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vic Angelsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The corner led FC Chorchoj's Lino Policarpio to fire away a dangerous shot which Clem Fath despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Edmondo Coco came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thierry Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Vic Angelsø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clem Fath was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. A collision led to Cosa nostra Lyon getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Willy Hautefeuille hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Vedillo came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Vic Angelsø in the 92nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Emilio Vedillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clem Fath. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Vedillo ran back to his position shaking his head.
