An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwann Patrice in the 8th minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Chester Bennington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mac Fly hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. HollywooDogs were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Cosa nostra Lyon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gualterio Peter took the corner. The corner ended in Gualterio Peter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath did a great save. Erwann Patrice struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Chester Bennington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosa nostra Lyon. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute of the match, Gualterio Peter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clem Fath saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Mac Fly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clem Fath made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Gualterio Peter sent off a good shot on target. Chester Bennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwann Patrice in the 29th minute of the match. HollywooDogs's Chester Bennington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodd Laing in the 31st minute of play. Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Gualterio Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clem Fath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodd Laing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chester Bennington having to interfere. Chester Bennington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodd Laing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardinho Alvarenga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clem Fath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Barros Ramirez came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Mineiro to make the kick off. Du Hong Hai kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Pedro Mineiro in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clem Fath prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute Rodd Laing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chester Bennington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosa nostra Lyon's Willy Hautefeuille managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ricardo Bittencourt in the 70 minute of the game. After 75 minutes HollywooDogs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erwann Patrice who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of HollywooDogs's goalie and right to Tim Ménet. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. HollywooDogs's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Chester Bennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwann Patrice in the 81st minute of play. When Rodd Laing came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cosa nostra Lyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodd Laing couldn't finish the play.
