But to his dismay, Enerik Valencia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Moisés Arce came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Real Brasília FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Arce couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Enerik Valencia sped through GKS Katowice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. 19 minutes into the match, Real Brasília FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludomir Zacharek. 0-3 became the score in the 20th minute when Moisés Arce elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sérgio Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Kasiewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GKS Katowice's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dominik Brysz in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Arce came free, but Betão Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezary Kasiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sérgio Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enerik Valencia in the 38th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Zacharek got free with Sérgio Sabóia in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Betão Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Arce's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS Katowice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valentin Ferrando was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Brasília FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Valentin Ferrando almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes did a great save. The Real Brasília FC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Real Brasília FC's Enerik Valencia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GKS Katowice made a substitution. Lucjan Werra replaced Ludomir Zacharek. The GKS Katowice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Brasília FC were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enerik Valencia was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Enerik Valencia lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Betão Pontes. Enerik Valencias short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Betão Pontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 60 minutes GKS Katowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentin Ferrando who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Real Brasília FC's corner Enerik Valencia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Betão Pontes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd minute GKS Katowice were awarded a corner. Dominik Brysz went to the cornerflag to take it. GKS Katowice's Dominik Brysz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sérgio Sabóia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 66th minute, Moisés Arce reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Betão Pontes. The goal made the score 0-7. Betão Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Arce's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. If Cezary Kasiewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Brasília FC made a substitution. Artur do Vale replaced Moisés Arce. In the 79th minute of the match, Artur do Vale tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Betão Pontes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 82 minutes into the match, Real Brasília FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Kasiewski came free, but Sérgio Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save GKS Katowice from getting a goal against them. Lucjan Werra kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Werra in the 86th minute of play forced Real Brasília FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Real Brasília FC's Betão Pontes threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Artur do Vale, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Betão Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 94 in the game by Toninho das Neves from a close distance when the talented Betão Pontes managed to make a qualified save. GKS Katowice's players were relieved. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur do Vale in the 95th minute of play.
