In the 24th minute, IFK Gladdarna's Emil Trulsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wlodzimierz Fleszar. Wlodzimierz Fleszar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 26th minute, Cam Bahč reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wlodzimierz Fleszar. The goal made the score 3-0. Dobromir Kondysar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kurt Ekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Rywin in the 31st minute of play. David Arenstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Fleszar having to interfere. Kurt Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Rywin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Dominik Lampe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jakob Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Gladdarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Koch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Fleszar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee showed Snorre Snabb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurt Ekberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogdan Rywin's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's Bogdan Rywin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Ekberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Bogdan Rywin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Snorre Snabb hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Herbert Furlit charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Grasshoppers Klucze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wlodzimierz Fleszar should have stopped the shot. Bogdan Rywin scored 6-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Ekberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emil Trulsson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Olgierd Mleczewski's late challenge caught a IFK Gladdarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olgierd Mleczewski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of IFK Gladdarna booed when Grasshoppers Klucze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Mleczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the IFK Gladdarna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
