GKS Katowice's attentive Zbyszko Kasiewski managed to snatch the ball when Lukasz Borczak made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Katowice's zone, Milosz Podwojski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Pontes came out of the goal and Milosz Podwojski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugon Derlanga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Kasiewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Kasiewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hugon Derlanga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cezary Kasiewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Kasiewski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Kasiewski in the 16th minute of play forced Zryw Samsonów's goalkeeper Hugon Derlanga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes got control of the ball when Milosz Podwojski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Milosz Podwojski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Betão Pontes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 28 minutes into the game, Zryw Samsonów's Milosz Podwojski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milosz Podwojski got free with Betão Pontes in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute of the match Zryw Samsonów got a corner. GKS Katowice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beniamin Resel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zryw Samsonów's Beniamin Resel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Betão Pontes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Maruda in the 36th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Zryw Samsonów got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Jakisz. If Milosz Podwojski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Borys Maruda made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Milosz Podwojski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Podwojski in the 54th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Borys Maruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's Ludomir Zacharek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugon Derlanga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zryw Samsonów's Hugon Derlanga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Zacharek in the 64th minute of play. Milosz Podwojski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Betão Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Zryw Samsonów's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomir Zacharek came free, but Hugon Derlanga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Radomil Szostak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão Pontes was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 72ndth minute of the game Radomil Szostak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Milosz Podwojski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes Zryw Samsonów got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Borczak. Ludomir Zacharek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hugon Derlanga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when GKS Katowice's Cezary Kasiewski in the 80th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hugon Derlanga was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Zryw Samsonów through an amazing save. Borys Kissel charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Borys Kissel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zryw Samsonów! The goalkeeper, Hugon Derlanga, was totally fooled by GKS Katowice's Dominik Brysz, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Szostak in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Zbyszko Kasiewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Katowice and the Zryw Samsonów players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Zbyszko Kasiewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Maruda in the 98th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
