Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Guará FC's Enéas Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Paal-Tervant's zone, Enéas Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willem-Jan Steuckens came out of the goal and Enéas Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Reuters got free with Emílio Motta in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ivo Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guará FC's protests and gave Ivo Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Figueiredo. If Niki Van Hoeyvelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Figueiredo scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willem-Jan Steuckens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Niki Van Hoeyvelt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Motta. Guará FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niki Van Hoeyvelt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ivo Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emílio Motta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aime Bernage. KFC Paal-Tervant's Willem-Jan Steuckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Figueiredo in the 37th minute of play. Louis Reuters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Emílio Motta made a huge save. Bram Van Wontergem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Emílio Motta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. KFC Paal-Tervant's Willem-Jan Steuckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Figueiredo in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Louis Reuters made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Louis Reuters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio Motta was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 61st minute Niki Van Hoeyvelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Flavinho Alagoano hit a great ball. Emílio Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Van Hoeyvelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis Reuters in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Motta saved Guará FC from getting behind. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Reuters in the 75th minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Emílio Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Guará FC's Erasmo de Azevedo got a free kick in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Steuckens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rômulo de Sena. In the 91st minute of the game, Rômulo de Sena landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Aime Bernage's late challenge caught a Guará FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aime Bernage helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aime Bernage to maneuver through the defense. Aime Bernage hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Elói Bezerra's late challenge caught a KFC Paal-Tervant's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. 99 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's Aime Bernage sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emílio Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guará FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
